Darrell Feller is the visionary founder and president of Extempore Group, a leading security and aviation consulting firm.
A decorated U.S. Army veteran and former federal law enforcement officer, he embodies the company's commitment to excellence.
As an FAA-certified pilot with over 4,000 flight hours, Darrell's aviation expertise is extensive. His career began in 1986 as a U.S. Army military police officer, followed by roles as an instructor pilot, a Deputy U.S. Marshal, and an Air Interdiction Agent/Pilot for Customs and Border Protection.
After retiring from the National Guard and Customs and Border Protection, he continued serving as a parole officer, and as a pilot for medical evacuations and Alaska Airlines. Currently, he flies corporate jets and helicopters.
Darrell is also an NRA certified pistol/rifle instructor and active competitive shooter. He enjoys outdoor activities with his family and dogs in the Pacific Northwest.
Brig. Gen. John J. Campo is the Director, Joint Staff, Joint Force Headquarters, District of Columbia National Guard, Washington D.C. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing and managing the development, execution and evaluation of joint staff programs and policies pertaining to the command, control and operation of joint functions within the District of Columbia Army and District of Columbia Air National Guard.
General Campo enlisted in the US Army in 1991 and was commissioned in 1992 as a Warrant Officer. Following rotary wing flight training, he served on active duty for nine years flying the UH-1 and AH-64. General Campo received a Direct Commission in 2001 and then joined the Air National Guard. He has been qualified in the KC-135R/E, C-40, and C-38.
General Campo has held key leadership roles, including Commander and Vice Commander of the 113th Wing and various command positions within the 113th Maintenance and Aircraft Maintenance Squadrons. He has also served as the Deputy Air-Bridge Commander for the NJ Air National Guard. With numerous deployments, General Campo has supported US Army and Air National Guard operations worldwide.
In his free time, General Campo enjoys yearly snowmobiling trips to Vermont and spending time at his home on the Chesapeake bay.

As a decorated U.S. Army Veteran, Derrick was at the forefront of advancing one of the military's most precise and powerful artillery systems, the M270A1/HIMARS. His expertise in MLRS fires delivery contributed to the development and refinement of operational tactics that have proven invaluable on the modern battlefield, including recent successes in Ukraine.
With a diverse background in government service within both a municipality and the Federal space, Derrick has held pivotal roles at the City of Austin Department of Aviation, the General Services Administration (GSA), and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Derrick is a resident of Miami, FL and is also a hobbyist helicopter pilot in training. He enjoys drinking rare bourbons and hitting the gym.
